Too often, forests are valued based on their timber, rather than their potential for carbon sequestration.

##### TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

NCX believes in democratizing access to natural capital markets, with the philosophy of every acre, every landowner, every year. Using satellite imagery and AI technology, NCX has developed a basemap of every acre of forest carbon in the United States that powers a new type of data-driven carbon marketplace. Moving beyond the price of timber, the NCX marketplace puts a price on the value of forests' ability to sequester carbon and uses a one-year deferral methodology to invite every landowner to benefit from this opportunity. By reimagining forest carbon credits, NCX unlocks millions of acres of land that was previously excluded from carbon marketplaces creating a gigaton-size climate solution.
