The roughly 1.5 billion cattle globally contribute 37% of the methane from human activity.

##### TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

Mootral is the developer of a natural feed supplement that significantly reduces methane emissions from ruminants. Using a patented mixture, Mootral’s feed supplement is able to reduce methane emissions up to 40% (with variation across geographies and breeds). With a Verra-certified measurement methodology, Mootral also has created the first ruminant methane offset, which makes this solution both key to reducing dangerous greenhouse gases and also a potential source of profit for cattle farmers.
