PROBLEM FOCUS
Currently, global CO2 conventional geological storage infrastructure is limited and scaling slowly. It results in a 40% gap between CO2 Capture and CO2 storage capacity.
TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION
Scape develops coastal seawater reactors that use natural carbon-removing minerals like olivine to sequester captured CO2 and recover critical metals. Scape co-locates with large corporate CO2 emitters or Direct Air Capture companies with coastal facilities, or intakes inland CO2 that is pipelined to the coast. Scape is poised to be the first mover in marine low-purity CO2 sequestration of captured carbon and carbon-negative critical metal recovery.
