The energy transition is underway, but we cannot have an energy transition without a materials transition. Steel, aluminum, and copper production consume about 12% of global energy and contribute about 8% of global emissions.
TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION
DexMat produces Galvorn, a high-performance carbon nanomaterial that is stronger than steel, lighter than aluminum, electrically and thermally conductive, flexible, corrosion-resistant, non-toxic, and recyclable. Made entirely of carbon — with the potential to be sourced from hydrocarbons, renewable fuels, and captured carbon — at scale it can be produced sustainably and at a lower cost than incumbent materials.
