Over 1/3 of the EU's grids are 40+ years old, meaning the link between electricity generation and consumers runs on obsolete infrastructure. The switch to renewables creates an imbalance in supply and demand, greater peak demand, and two-way energy flow - all things the grid wasn’t designed for.

The Allye MAX is a 320kWh battery energy storage solution (BESS) using repurposed EV batteries that are ~2.5x cheaper and have 60% lower embedded CO2 than other short duration ESS. It features a mixed lithium-ion chemistry system for greater life and performance, with dual bi-directional capabilities to simultaneously charge and discharge. The Max is also mobile and modular for flexible capacity and power output, with software to reduce energy bills and decarbonize operations for C&I businesses.
